God Forgives

He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear* { revere ] him;   ( psalms 103:10-11 *niv  )
Dear Friend,
God offers repentance to all who come to Him!  I know that many people believe that they have done something that they cannot be forgiven for, but that is incorrect; for He knows how we are formed he remembers that we are dust. (Psalms 103:14)
He also knows that to be of the flesh is to be sinful!  After all God has promised; I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me. (Jeremiah 33:8)
Therefore if you slip and sin, seek forgiveness as King David did, for he said; then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord” – and you forgave the guilt of my sin. (Psalms 32:5)
So Friend, do not beat yourself up over past mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and remember that; blessed is He whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins a recovered.  Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against his and in whose spirit is no deceit.   Amen.  (Psalms 32:1-2)

A.S.A.P

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He   hears us.  And if we know that he hears us,   whatever we ask, we know that we have the   petitions that we have asked of Him.   (1 John 5:14-15 *nkjv )

   Dear Friend,
We often find ourselves too busy to stop and say a prayer   when we have a rough day.  In this life everything seems like it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P.  So we often forget to   speak to God in prayer about it before we react.

Therefore one must remember that; the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective!.   ( James 5:16 *niv )  More powerful and more effective than   anything else on this Earth, even when we must react   As Soon As Possible.

Now Friend, have you ever wondered about the    abbreviation A.S.A.P.?  Generally we think of it in terms   of even more hurry and stress in our lives.  Maybe if we   think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will   begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days    along the way.

       So when.......
         There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos,
         "Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

         God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
         A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

Love the Lord

Jesus said; He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.  And he who loves Me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." (John 14:21 *nkjv )

Dear Friend,

When we lovingly obey God's Commandments, and study His Word we begin to experience a more intimate knowledge of our Heavenly Father.  It is through that knowledge that we become closer to Him as well, for it is written that if you; draw near to God and he will draw near to you. (James 4:8 )

Now isn't is a pity that so many in this World today feel unloved and alone, when all they have to do is reach out to God?  For it is also written; God is love. (1 john 4:8) Why not pray for them tonight, and always tell God how much you love Him when you pray.  For God has said; I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.  (Proverbs 8:17 )

So, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'  ( Matthew 22:37 ) And He will love you and bless you, in return. He will also fill you with His Great Love, a love that many in the World do not know.   Amen.

Be faithful

Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life (revelation 2:10 *niv )

Dear Friend,

There are many times in this life when our faith is put to the test.  Times that we may even feel that God has abandoned us because a prayer isn't answered the way we want it to be.  Know that it is written; though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,  that the genuineness of your faith, being much  more precious than gold that perishes, though it is  tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and  glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  ( 1 peter 1:6-7 )

Also know that sometimes what we pray for isn't God's will for us thus; this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  ( 1 john 5:14 )

You see, sometimes what we pray for would actually hurt us in the long run, and our Heavenly Father is protecting us from that.  Other times we just can't understand God's ways for; no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  (1 Corinthians 2:11)

However, we do know He loves us very much, and would never abandoned us or deliberately hurt us.  So we must keep our faith knowing that God is with us and that no matter what happens He is in control!

Therefore it is important that; we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) trusting that God knows what is best for us, even if a prayer isn't answered the way we want  it to be!   Amen.

THE LORD IS MY LIGHT

The Lord is my light and my salvation -whom shall i fear? The Lord is the strong hold of my life of whom shall i be afraid? (psalms 27:1 *niv )

Dear Friend
Do not let the events of the World today, or the in the future, cause you any fear. For it is written;
the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8 )

After all
, if you make the most High your dwelling even the Lord, who is my refuge then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His Angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. ( psalms 91:9-12 )

Therefore,
when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. For; the Lord's curse is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous. ( proverbs 3:25,33 )

So Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for THE
L
ord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." amen. ( Deuteronomy 31:6 )

Bless the Lord

This Message is Especially for You

Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies,( psalm 103:2 & 4 *nkjv )

indeed, we should never forget just how very much our Heavenly Father loves each one of us.  Also how many ways HE proves that to us each day as well!

After all when we feel hopeless; the Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. (Psalm 29:11)

When we can't find the answers we want, or are in need of guidance, He will provide the way, for; this also comes from the Lord of Hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. (Isaiah 28:29)

Further, don't forget the best benefit of all, for; this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.( 1 john 5:11 )

So in return you should; love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' because he Loves you even more than that!   Amen (Mark 12:30)

iGeneration

My Manna

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8.

The Bible describes a time in Israel's history when "everyone did what was right in his own eyes." Judges 17:6.

But I also think that is a good description of our time.

Rather than living by a set of absolute standards like the Ten Commandments-
- many people are making up their own standards and using a sliding scale for morality,
- thinking they are at least better than the next person.

It reminds me of the prophet Isaiah's warning:
"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20.

That is where our culture is today.
We mock what is good and pure, and we celebrate what is wicked and sinful.
Good is called evil and evil is called good in our upside-down world.

That is why I think our generation could easily be called the iGeneration-
- because we think it is all about us.

It is all about our getting-
- what we want,
- when we want to get it.

Now that we can get our information on demand, we don't want to be told what we can see or hear or let others decide when we can hear and see it.

We want what we want, and we want it when we want it.
And many are taking the same approach to morality.

So how do we reach a culture like this?

Answer:
We reach it the same way Christians reached their culture 2,000 years ago.

We reach our culture with the authority and the message of God's Word-
- because that never changes, no matter what. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Hebrews 13:8.

God Says

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105 *niv )

     Dear Friend,
for all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for us!  After all.....

 When You say, "It's impossible
". God says: "all things are possible". (Luke 18:27 )

When You say, "I'm too tired."
God says: "I will give you rest". (Matthew 11:28-20 )

When You say, "Nobody really loves me".
God says: "I love you". (John 3:16 & john 13:34)

When You say, "I can't go on."
God says: My grace is sufficient." (2 Corin 12:9 &
 psalm 91:15)

When You say, "I can't figure things out."
God says: "I will direct your steps." (Proverbs 3:5-6 )

When You say, "I can't do it."
God says: "you can do all things in Me." (Phil 4:13 )

When You say, "It's not worth it." God says: "it will be worth it." (Romans 8:28 )

When You say, "I can't forgive myself."
God says: "I forgive you." (I john 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

When You say, "I can't manage." God says: "I will supply all your needs." (Phil 4:19 )

 When You say, "I'm afraid."
God says: "I have not given you a spirit of fear." ( 2 timothy.1:7 )

When You say, "I'm always worried and frustrated". God says: "cast all your cares on me ( 1 peter 5:7 )

When You say, "I don't have enough faith."
God says: "I’ve given everyone a measure of faith." ( romans 12:3 )

When You say, "I'm not smart enough."
God says: "i give you wisdom." ( 1 corin 1:30 )

When You say, "I feel all alone."
God says: "i will never leave you or forsake you."
 ( hebrews 13:5 )

Always remember that; every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.  (Proverbs 30:5) for the word of God is living and active!    Amen.( Hebrews 4:12 )

Enjoy life

My Manna

"The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."John 10:10.

A wealthy businessman was shocked to see a fisherman sitting beside his boat, playing with a small child.

So the businessman asked, "Why aren't you out fishing?"

The fisherman replied, "Because I've caught enough fish for one day."

"Why don't you catch some more?" the businessman further inquired.

"What would I do with them?" asked the fisherman.

"You could earn more money," said the businessman. "Then with the extra money, you could buy a bigger boat, go into deeper waters, and catch more fish. Then you would make enough money to buy nylon nets. With the nets, you could catch even more fish and make more money. With that money you could own two boats, maybe three boats. Eventually you could have a whole fleet of boats and be rich like me."

"Then what would I do?" replied the fisherman.

"Then you could really enjoy life," answered the businessman.

The fisherman looked at the businessman quizzically and asked, "What do you think I'm doing now?"

Let's not get so wrapped up in work, that we simply forget to enjoy life-
- the life that He wants to give us more abundantly!

Take some time out this weekend and be sure to praise God for the life that He's provided.

Have a great weekend!

Dealing with troubles

If I say, 'I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad face and wear a smile  ( Job 9:27 *nkjv  )

 Dear friend
     sometimes we all become sad and depressed because  of things that happen in our lives.  for sometimes we feel;
we are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed  ( 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 )

     now when you feel the pressures of life remember  the words of king david, for he wrote;
though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; you will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand will save me.  (Psalm 138:7)

therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 )

     so
therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him, for He cares for you. (1 peter 5:6-7 )

Return to me

"Return to me, and I will return to you," says the Lord Almighty.( Malachi 3:7 *NIV )

Dear Friend
There are times that we may find ourselves walking far from God. Know that if ever that happens to you it is because we have moved, not because God has left us. For the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake ou.( Deuteronomy 31:8 )

Now perhaps we find ourselves feeling abandoned by God because we are overwhelmed with problems, or because of the loss of a loved one. If that is the case remember that; He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men.( Lamentations 3:33 )

Therefore if you ever find yourself feeling far from our Heavenly Father, remember, that God is there with open arms to receive you back. So, take words with you and return to the Lord, say to Him, "forgive all our sins and receive us graciously." For then He will say; "I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely." (Hosea 14:2 & 4 ) After all that is His promise always, for Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ( Hebrews 13:8 )

So if you are feeling far from God right now, let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. (Lamentations 3:40 ) For He loves you very much!

Now Friend, may the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace, ( numbers 6:24-26 ) and may His; Grace be with you all. Amen. ( Hebrews 13:25 )

100%

My Manna

If I asked you to give God 100 percent-
- would you immediately think I meant money?
Don't worry!
This question really isn't about money.

It's about you!
All of you-

Heart, mind, soul and strength.
In fact, that's what God wants from you.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." Deuteronomy 6:4-5.

And Jesus underscored this: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37.

 That's definitely percent.
Jesus goes on to say, "This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:38-40.

Did you notice that it begins with love?
When you choose to love God like that, the obedience and the service fall into place.
You honour His commandments because your love for Him keeps you from lying, adultery, coveting, creating idols and all the rest. Exodus 20:1-17.

How's your heart for God?

The Bible talks about the heart as the center of all activity, the real intents and desires that drive and determine what you'll do and become, and "from it flow the springs of life." Proverbs 4:23.

Does your soul belong to God?
The soul is the eternal spirit, the "you-ness" God created in you that continues when your body fails and dies.

In talking about the end of a person's life, Ecclesiastes 12:7 describes it as "the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it"

Are you transformed by the renewal of your mind?
The mind is your will, where you make choices and reason through your actions or attitudes.
"Be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2.
What choices have you made to follow God?

What decisions do you try to make without Him?
Have you surrendered your body as a living sacrifice?

You can't leave out your physical strength, the body, because it houses (for our time on earth) all the rest. "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1.

How much of your mind, heart, soul and even body have you given to God?
Do you think you're holding onto something that He wants from you?
What's keeping you from giving 100 percent?

So, how do you do this 100 percent thing?

There's no easy formula.
But it begins with a choice.

Choose to love God-
- for who He is and what He's done for you.
Then start asking-
"How can I show God I love Him?
If I love God, what other choices do I make?"

He'll help you.
So make sure you ask God to show you each day how to give Him more and more of yourself.

Cling to hope in Christ!

My Manna

"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you." 1 Peter 4:12.

When you face a trial-
- what is your first response?

You probably would like to run away as quickly as possible to escape it.

Though this is a normal feeling-
God has a different way.

It is not the trials in your life that develop or destroy you-
- but rather your response to those hardships.

How, then, should we react when difficulties feel overwhelming?

First-
Reflect!
Trust God.
Believe His Word and reflect on ways He has been faithful in the past.
He assures us that He limits our trials and enables us to endure.

Second-
Remain!
Persevere.
Even when we don't understand and the pain seems too great to bear, we should never quit.
Continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer.
Cling to hope in Christ and praise Him in the midst of the pain.

Third-
Remember!

Bear in mind that our sovereign God is in control.
He's allowing this adversity for a reason and will demonstrate His sustaining power through it.
Even though the pain might feel intolerable, the Lord will prosper us.

Scripture compares our growth to gold, which is refined through fire. 1 Peter 1:7.
Often, I hear believers reflect on a difficult time and admit that despite the intense hurt, they wouldn't change the situation.
They see the beauty God created through the struggle and realize its value.

We will encounter difficulties-
- sometimes intense and painful trials that seem too much for us.

Yet we can rely on our heavenly Father to deliver and grow us in ways we could never imagine.

He doesn't demand that we endure on our own.
But He does allow us to respond and trust Him.
